Description

Molding on gasifiable models (LGM) is one of the most perspective ways of production of the castings providing high dimensional precision at production of both small, and large products from alloys of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Costs of the organization proizvodstvalgm in Kazakhstan, include design and production of compression molds. The LGM technology allows to receive castings weighing from 10 gram to 2000 kilograms with purity of a surface of Rz40, dimensional and (State standard specification P 53464-2009) with a weight accuracy up to 7 class.

Materials of castings:

  • practically all brands of cast iron from SCh15 to VCh50, wearproof;
  • became, from simple carbonaceous Art. 20-45 to high-alloyed, heatresistant and heat resisting;
  • practically all foundry brands of bronze, brass, aluminum.

The way of molding on gasifiable models possesses a number of advantages:

  • It is sharp to reduce costs of the equipment;
  • To reduce number of technological operations;
  • Thanks to as forming material of reverse quartz sand and hardening of a form the vacuum excludes use of cores and the equipment for their production;
  • To reduce operations of finishing processing of castings;
  • To reduce quantity of production wastes to a minimum;
  • To reduce labor costs by 2 — 4 times;
  • To reduce electricity consumption by 2 — 3 times;
  • To reduce and to optimum use floor spaces;
  • To reduce costs of auxiliary materials by 3 — 5 times.
The main advantage of this method — a possibility of receiving quality castings at essential reduction of labor input and cost of process. Often molding on gasifiable models receive exact and difficult castings which sometimes cannot be received in other ways. The essence of this way of molding consists in the following: the detail model which is previously made of polyfoam is filled up with sand. Liquid metal is filled in in a form, turning expanded polystyrene into gas. At the same time metal replaces foam model and takes the model form. This way of molding allows to reduce costs of the equipment and materials, to reduce number of technological operations and to lower production wastes. Moreover, quality of the made model allows to lower costs of finishing processing and even to refuse it. Also practice proved that application, the technology of molding for gasifiable models, LGM offered by us in Kazakhstan, allows:
  1. to lower costs of expendables by 3-5 times
  2. to reduce labor costs by 2-4 times;
  3. to cut an electric power consumption by 2-3 times;
  4. many times to reduce percent of marriage and to increase an exit of suitable;
  5. to reduce needs for the shop areas;
  6. to provide the maximum wastelessness;
